You don´t have to pay to join them, and they can also offer savings on other items besides their store´s groceries. One in CA, offers discounts to Six Flags, airline tickets and cellular phones.

Define why you are couponing. It can be a small investment of your time so having a written or defined goal can help keep you motivated. For me, it was to increase the quality of my family´s groceries without increasing the amount spent. For some, a vacation savings account is the motivation they need. Just be sure to deposit the actual cash savings into the account.
