Many shoppers do not bother to clip grocery coupons or seek out sales on groceries because they simply do not realize the monumental savings which can occur when a little extra effort is put into finding the best prices. A typical shopper who utilizes coupons may realize a 10 percent savings on groceries easily, and avid coupon users who are quite diligent in their quest to save money will realize an even greater savings. Think of time spent clipping coupons as time well spent; the money saved by using coupons is fantastic, and the food coupons you clip may actually help you in planning your meals. If you have a coupon for your favorite spaghetti sauce and you also know the grocery store is having a sale on the same sauce during the week, you would do well to add spaghetti to your list of dinners for the coming week.
