If you are looking for a specific retailer's coupon, it's really quite simple. Go to their Web site or search the Internet. All you have to do is type "Amazon coupon code" into your favorite search engine. You might be surprised at the results.
Be careful that you don't get trapped into a scam, though. According to the FTC, more than 3,000 manufacturers distribute nearly 330 billion coupons every year in an effort to help consumers save money. However, scam arists abound! Scammers prey on the uneducated consumer and will offer savings or coupons for the "must-have" items. These are fraudulent companies misrepresenting businesses. If you are concerned or think you've been part of a too-good-to-be-true mailing, call the retailer directly and find out of the coupon is valid.

1. Amazon coupons are extremely hard to come by. Most of the Amazon coupon codes that are available are listed at Amazon.com, and are valid for specific categories (i.e., Tools & Hardware) or specific products. I have not see a sitewide coupon for Amazon.com in years.
2. Using the search engines will get you a lot of results. There are many, many online coupon websites out there, but they are not all created (or maintained) equally. Some sites do not check the validity of the codes they post. Others do not verify the codes they post, and leave out crucial details of the offers (which leaves consumers fuming during checkout). You should be able to separate the wheat from the chaff very quickly. Once you find a site that works for you, be sure to bookmark it for later use. It will come in handy.

As for Amazon coupon coupons, I have looked high and low, but have never actually found a coupon code to use. I did however find a coupon site CouponTrunk.com that has a grid with percentage-off discounts based on category.
